Logan’s sophomore year, we weren’t quite sure what to expect, but it ended up being an amazing experience for him. Being able to pitch for Team Wisconsin was the icing on the cake that summer. The second year was even better and it was when he made his connection with Coach Montez and Jacksonville University.
Initially, Logan’s search was closer to home, but one never knows where baseball will take you and he needed to go where he would feel comfortable and at home. You spoke very highly of Jacksonville University and Coach Montez. I knew once we stepped foot on the Jacksonville University campus and talked with the coaches and players that this was the place for Logan. Logan knew too and that was exciting as he had been very unsure of things up until that point.
We feel beyond blessed for this opportunity and it is in large part thanks to you and Coach Grams. You went above and beyond in talking with Logan in the off season and mentoring him along the way. Thank you for positively contributing to baseball in this nutty sports world! Continuous blessings to both of you!
Terri Wonn- Oconomowoc, WI
Your personal promotion of Alex to college coaches around the country was such a gift. Thank you for making sure Alex kept in contact with his preferred schools of choice to ensure he remained focused on a select few and did not become overwhelmed. I am especially grateful for all the time you took in taking and placing calls on Alex’s behalf, at all hours of the day, night and weekends, regardless of your own personal commitments.
I was very hesitant about Alex going to the University of Connecticut at first. Although it wasn’t my first choice, since it is 1,000 miles away, I have warmed up to the idea. I’ve talked with the coaches and feel more comfortable with Alex’s decision after our discussions. I know this is what Alex wants. He is extremely excited and eager to be a part of their program. Alex would not be on this path without you and we are very fortunate and grateful to have had your help.
Thank you again for helping to make Alex’s dream of playing college ball come true.
Carrie Hintze – Oshkosh WI
Kim Stiever – Cedarburg WI
Your Showtime Sports Camps at Kenosha and Franklin as well as Team Wisconsin have opened up opportunities for Scott and Brad that we never knew were possible. It is very apparent to us that you are not only trusted and respected by colleagues throughout the country, but also a valuable resource when it comes to college recruiting.
A very sincere and heartfelt thank you for all you have done for us! Keep up the good work!
Jim, Maria, Brad and Scott Schreiber- Kimberly WI
I wanted to thank you guys for what you do! My son Derek Hansen from the Minnesota Showcase and played on Team Minnesota was just drafted by the Oakland A’s in the 25th round following his junior year. He played at Augustana in Sioux Falls South Dakota on scholarship after the exposure he received at your Showcase.
You guys do a great job!
Hersh Hansen- Minnesota
I just wanted to take the time to tell you how valuable your showcase and being a member of Team Minnesota has been in the recruiting process for Marcus. We are so thankful for the exposure he received. You are the one and only organization where we truly felt that your main intent is to help athletes play at the next level beyond high school. The cost of the showcase and being on Team Minnesota was a great value for the small amount you charged. Marcus has attended other Showcases, and there really is no comparison to yours. The amount of coaches present, the exciting atmosphere, the rules and format, and the talent level are a few examples of what makes your event great. Thanks again for helping us do what we never could have done by ourselves. We will never forget this experience. You were the exact resource we needed for this overwhelming recruiting process. I recommend Showtime Sports to anyone who wants to play baseball beyond high school.
Bonnie Hahn- Minnesota
Coach Kelliher and Coach Grams –
We just wanted to thank both of you for the great experience you provided for our son, Alex, during the Midwest Classic Baseball Tournament this summer. Team Wisconsin was an incredible opportunity for him to play with some of the top players in the state of Wisconsin. He was able to make some good friends that he continues to stay in contact with today. The competition at the tournament was excellent and allowed the team to prove Wisconsin has great baseball! You guys run a class showcase that exposes high school ballplayers that want to play at the next level to so many college coaches from around the Midwest. Compared to other showcases, it is the best attended and the best organized. From the showcase and the Classic, Alex received several calls from coaches from all divisions that eventually led to his committing to UW-Milwaukee to play for the Panthers in 2015!
As a parent, a former player and high school coach, I would recommend your showcase and Team Wisconsin to any high school baseball player that has aspirations of playing college baseball!
Once again, thank you for the wonderful opportunity!
The McIntosh Family- Hortonville WI
Team Purple 2013
Job well done. Just a word of thanks for everything you have done for Kevin. Very, very well run and organized and from a parent perspective this is greatly appreciated. Kevin was thankful and glad to be a part of the experience. The exposure was second to none. Thank you.
Keith Tibor- Kenosha Bradford, WI
I want to thank all the coaches who helped out with Team Wisconsin. I appreciate the opportunity I was given and had a lot of fun with the team. Great competition and lots of exposure. I hope you have continued success in the future with the team. Thanks again.
Nathan Disch- Appleton West, WI
Thanks for putting on the two showcases. I feel that I was able to see a lot of quality players that will be guys we can work on and put together a great 2013 class. I look forward to future years and working with you again.
Brett Monaghan- Indian Hills Baseball
I greatly appreciate the hard work and time that went into making this past week worthwhile not only for the players, but also for us coaches. I look forward to hopefully making this an annual event for me- no matter where I may be coaching!
Grant Achilles – Georgetown University
I would like to thank you for putting on the Kenosha showcase as I was very impressed by the amount of pro team scouts and college scouts in attendance.
With my son participating he had 26 schools (18 DI or DII) contact him shortly after the showcase and ended up getting a scholarship from Upper Iowa and had scholarship offers from many others and when I had asked some of these coaches where they had seen Torre play they stated it was in Kenosha. Thanks again for putting on a great showcase for these kids, it brings many scouts to see the best talent in Wisconsin.
Jon Riek- La Crosse Wisconsin
We just wanted to thank you again for putting on this showcase and for all of the hard work/time/energy you and the other coaches put into this effort!
Rob had an awesome time and it was great getting to meet you and Bill. Rob’s been very busy since we left your showcase…after we left the showcase we had a scheduled trip to Bradley University. He ended up “committing” to Bradley the weekend after your showcase! Other colleges got wind of the offer during the week he was given to decide and well, I’m sure you can imagine the stress levels at our house! We’re super excited for him and see that another player from Team Wisconsin committed to Bradley, too! Well done!
Thanks again and all the best to you and the future of Showtime Sports!
Jolie Mouton- Cretin Derham Hall, MN
I would also like to just give you one more thanks for everything you did with the showcase last summer in Kenosha. I am heading off to Jacksonville on Tuesday and couldn’t be more excited. If it wasn’t for your event I would not be getting this opportunity to play at the next level.
Thanks, Josh Baker- University School of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Reed has been recruited by a number of Division I schools, and just recently gave a verbal acceptance to North Dakota State University….he really liked the school and was very impressed with their coaches! I believe NDSU will be a good fit! I really want to once again, thank you for your help in getting him seen by these scouts and really think your organization is top notch and really can make a difference in these players lives!
Todd and Mary Pfannenstein, Rocori, MN
We looked at quite a few baseball camps to enroll our son in. The Showtime Sports Baseball Showcase came very highly recommend to us. We never realized in our wildest dreams how many doors this showcase could open for a young baseball prospect.
We now realize that we made the right decision to send our son Logan to Burnsville, Minnesota for the Showtime Sports Baseball Showcase in June of 2011. We had such a great experience watching all of the players competing at such a high level in front of college baseball coaches and professional baseball scouts. Our son was recommended to tryout as a sophomore, we were not sure if he was ready, but the tryout format of running a 60 yard dash, infield and outfield throwing and fielding and then playing games really showed the true potential of the players. Showtime Sports Directors Bill Grams and John Kelliher work extremely hard to promote all of the players and are more than willing to discuss future plans to play baseball in college. Logan was selected to play for Team Minnesota, a Showtime Sports sponsored team, that plays in a very prestigious tournament in Illinois the last weekend in July and first weekend in August (Harvey Foster Tournament) as expected teams from 12-16 states with top players showcasing themselves in front of as many as 100-115 college coaches and scouts.
Logan has received many baseball prospect interest letters and e-mails (37 and counting) and he is looking forward to attending again this year. He is certainly excited! Thanks John and Bill we are looking forward to this summer.
Larry and Karen Swann – Morgan, MN
I first of all want to thank you for the opportunity with the Kenosha Showcase, and then Team Wisconsin at the Midwest Baseball Classic in July. My recruiting status would not have been the same without those opportunities.
I received numerous calls from Division 1 Schools including UW Milwaukee, Eastern Illinois, University of North Dakota, North Dakota State, Valparaiso University, and the University of South Carolina – Upstate. I also received numerous calls from Division II to Division III schools as well. In the end I had great offers from UW Milwaukee, Eastern Illinois, Minnesota State – Mankato, and Danville Area Community College. I received more letters from schools as well, which really helped get my name out there. If you’re a baseball player looking to play at the college level, I would highly suggest you spend your money at this relatively inexpensive showcase. This is not a “give me your money” event.
This event really does offer the best opportunity for exposure.
Nate Hoffmann – Sun Prairie, WI
Showtime Sports (The Kenosha Showcase and Team Wisconsin) is an absolute Must! With over 70 college and professional scouts attending tryouts and games, our son Craig was given an unbelievable opportunity to perform and eventually be recruited by over 20 colleges. He committed to Ohio State University solely based on the exposure he received from Showtime Sports. This is the best experience, value and recruiting tool that your family will find.
Thanks again, Dave, Donna, Craig and family- Wrightstown WI
The Baseball Showcase in Kenosha was very well organized and was attended by numerous college and pro scouts. Being selected to Team Wisconsin was an incredible experience for Tyler. It got him the exposure he was looking for and ultimately, an offer from Division I, Western Illinois University. It also boosted his confidence on the mound. The dedication from coaches and volunteers was incredible. I would recommend this opportunity to anyone who has a passion for baseball.
Kim Willman, Oshkosh, WI
This is Joan, Ryan’s mom. I just wanted to touch base and let you know how much we appreciated all your help and time from the Showtime Showcase to Coaching Team WI to supporting and helping Ryan through the recruiting process. When all was said and done, Ryan was down to 5 schools. (UConn, Villanova, Bradley, Cornell, and Harvard). The IVY schools had serious interest but we just could not see Ryan quite fitting there along with the likely cost. This left three really great programs. We talked a lot about all the pros and cons of each and came back to our starting point of UConn. I cannot tell you how much Mark and I were impressed with the coaching staff (not to belittle any of the others because they were all great) but there was just that special “something” that all three of us felt. We loved the campus size and appreciated our meetings with all the academic people. We know that Ryan will first off receive a great education at UConn and will graciously have this opportunity to play baseball. We had very good conversations with Coach Pender’s about the “whole” picture of truly committing to UConn and what Ryan can expect. Ryan is really excited. Thank you again for all your time and efforts!
Joan and Mark Radue, Appleton, WI
I am the mother of one of the participants of the 2 day camp in Kenosha June 20-21. I just wanted to send you a sincere thank you. You run an efficient well staffed and organized camp. We were also impressed with the amount of college coaches present around the fields. We have been to many different baseball events and really enjoyed being there.
Nick also stated how friendly the coaching staff was and he had a great time. So keep up the great work!
Sue and Nick Godersky, WI
I have never participated in a Showcase before, and I found it to be a good experience. I thought the camp was well run, organized and efficient. The coaches were friendly, positive and supportive. There was plenty of time to warm up prior to the skill testing. I appreciated that there was no delay between the skill testing and the games. I enjoyed the overall experience of the Showcase and well worth attending.
Ethan Fenske, WI
My personal thanks once again for finding a spot for Nolan in the showcase on short notice…I know we got lucky by having someone drop out, but I truly appreciate you calling us back and the way you handled things. Nolan has gotten e-mails and some letters of interest as a result of attending the showcase, so hopefully something will work out in the long run.
Thanks again for all you do for the kids!
Lisa McShane, WI
First, both my wife Janet and I want to thank you for providing our son Stephen Chestnut a wonderful experience at the Wisconsin High School Baseball Showcase. My wife Janet said that it was “first class” all the way, and Stephen absolutely loved it! The Showcase experience has motivated him to continue working hard. Thank you again for providing this outstanding experience for Stephen. All the best.
David Chestnut, Onalaska WI
Again we want to thank you for all your hard work and persistence in convincing us to participate in your showcase. It was the best way for Kyle to perform for so many D1 schools and pro scouts. We will always compliment your program to anyone and everyone who wants to show their stuff. Feel free to have parents or athletes contact us for a reference.
Once again thank you.
The Cody Family – Gene, Jacolyn and Kyle, Chippewa Falls, WI
My son, Luke Curtis, attended the 2011 Wisconsin High School Baseball Showcase in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I was extremely impressed of how well it was run. It is truly the Showcase to go to if your child is playing high school baseball in Wisconsin!
Greg P. Curtis- Appleton WI
Just wanted to send an email in regards to your showcase in Kenosha. My son had received modest attention from college recruiters prior to this event but afterwards it was like the flood gates opened. Ryan, coming from a small school in northwest WI does not get the exposure of kids from the larger schools in or near metro areas so this showcase really was the first time that any recruiter was able to get a firsthand look at him. The showcase was very well run and gave each kid equal opportunity to showcase their skills. I also want to comment on the Team Wisconsin experience in Plainfield, IL. What a great tournament with the best high school talent I have seen to date. It gave us a real good idea where Ryan’s talents would fit in college baseball.
Todd Bloom- Boyceville WI
I just wanted to let you know that I committed about 2 weeks ago to play at Jacksonville University. I would like to thank you and your staff for running the showcase in Kenosha because that is where I was able to be seen, and hope you continue to run it in the coming years to offer kids great chances like I got. Thanks.
Josh Baker University School of Milwaukee- WI
Just a quick note to thank you for giving Elliot the opportunity to play for Team Wisconsin. As parents, we could not have been more proud as he played up to the standards of the very good team you put together. This opportunity also created more interest from additional college & pro teams, above and beyond the interest that was already raised from the Showcase in Kenosha.
Again, thank you very much.
Al & Cheryl Ashbeck- Marshfield, WI
I can’t thank you enough for what you did for me following the Showcase in Burnsville. The Showcase was awesome and getting to play in front of that many scouts and coaches was a thrill. The way you went out of your way to get coaches from all over the country to come and watch me play was unbelievable, and I am very grateful for this. Thanks again for all your efforts and for putting me in front of so many coaches and scouts and making scholarship opportunities happen for me. I would recommend any player who wants to play college baseball participate in your program without hesitation.
Matt Stemper- Burnsville, MN
I just wanted to say thanks for the opportunity you and your coaching staff gave me and the other guys on Team Wisconsin this year. It’s a great experience to meet some of the top players in the state, and I still keep in touch with a couple guys to see what they’re thinking about the whole college recruiting process. As a result of the showcase, I’ve gotten calls from more than 10 Division 1 schools, a few of which have already made scholarship offers, saying they saw me play for Team Wisconsin at the Midwest Classic Baseball Tournament. I don’t think I would have gotten nearly the same interest or exposure just playing with my traveling summer team, and I sincerely appreciate the opportunity you guys gave me to fulfill my dream of playing Division 1 baseball. Thanks.
Nate Ricci- Madison LaFollette WI
The Kenosha Showcase and Team Wisconsin were great exposure for me! I was contacted by at least 7 or more colleges after they saw me at the showcase or Team Wisconsin and actually received offers from a couple of those schools. I also heard from some schools I had already been in contact with that were able to watch me at the showcase or game. I have not committed yet. I am going to be making a few official visits in the next month or so before I make a final decision. A Brewers scout also told me he saw me at the showcase and came to watch one of my Legion games and the Cincinnati Reds invited me to play for their fall scout team after seeing me at the showcase, which I am doing this fall with a couple of other guys who attended the showcase/Team Wisconsin.
Thanks for the great opportunity. You definitely do a great job running your events and helping players be seen by alot of colleges and scouts. It was a great experience for me and alot of the other players I’ve talked to.
Jared Dettmann – Somerset, WI
Just wanted to let you know I gave a verbal commitment to attend St. Cloud State to play baseball. Thank you again for allowing me to participate at the Kenosha Showcase and for Team Wisconsin. I think both events were very crucial in my getting interest from several colleges. Thanks. P.S. Marcus signed his letter of intent last month to play for Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. next year.
Tyler Patterson- Sun Prairie, WI
Thanks for the great time at the Illinois event last summer. By the way, during this last year’s recruiting process many of the coaches that Marcus spoke with commented that the Showtime Sports showcase event was by far the best of the showcases that they attended. As a parent having carted two baseball players around to many showcases, in and out of MN, I tend to agree.
Mike O’Neill-Totino Grace, MN
First of all I’d like to say “Thank You” for sponsoring this showcase event. Mike Simon, a coach on my staff, had many good things to say about you and the showcase. Last year was my first as a varsity coach @ Appleton North, although my 19th season coaching high school ball. We sent four of our athletes to the showcase last June. Each one that attended had quite a bit of interest from around the Midwest. All FOUR of our athletes will be playing collegiately next year. One @ D1, one @ D2, and 2 @ D3. I personally went to the showcase because my son was one of our 4 athletes participating. My son went merely to see how he would stack up against the best players in the state. When it was all said and done he had sparked interest from around (10) D3 schools. He will be playing baseball at North Park University in Chicago next year primarily because of your showcase exposure. I personally want to thank you as a coach and parent for helping athletes get an opportunity to play at the next level. Thanks again. David Eagan – Appleton North Baseball
This is Shane Adler and I just wanted to send you a quick e-mail saying thank you for having me play in the Showcase down in Illinois. You and John are really doing great things for kids in Wisconsin by having them compete in the Showcase and exposing them to college scouts. I recently committed to Indiana St. so I am pretty pumped about that. Going to the showcases provided by you and John have been a great experience for me and now I will have lifelong memories from them, so I just wanted to say thank you. Good luck to the upcoming years and hopefully next year you can bring the title back to Wisconsin.
Shane Adler – Middleton WI
Just wanted to say thank you again for Showtime sports – Adam Brett wouldn’t have gone to Jacksonville University if not for your program. Dan Gulbransen who played with Adam in the Showcase in Kenosha and on the same “Team Wisconsin Team” is having an even better season than Adam. Dan starts at Centerfield. In overall team production, the Wisconsin duo has combined for 73-of-327 hits, 14-of-65 doubles, 18-of-37 home runs and 64-of-219 RBI. Two Freshmen from Wisconsin getting it done thus far for Jacksonville University!
Adam Walker Sr. – Milwaukee WI
We would like to Thank Bill Grams and his staff for the hard work involved in running the Showtime Sports tryouts and Showcase. From the first tryout to playing in the Showcase in Kenosha, this program was run very professionally.
Our son Jordan received lots of attention because of this program. Many coaches from various levels were able to see his talents due to the efforts of Bill Grams.
His dedication to making sure Wisconsin baseball players are being showcased and discovered by numerous baseball programs around the country is nothing short of spectacular. I would highly encourage any high school player with desire to play at the next level to attend this program and showcase their talent. After speaking with various college coaches, and attending lots of school visits, Jordan will be realizing his dream of playing D1 baseball and pitching for the UW Milwaukee Panthers this fall.
Once again “Thank You” for Showtime Sports & Bill Grams!
Eric & Sue Guth- La Crosse WI
We would like to add another glowing testimonial about Showtime Sports and Eric’s participation on Team Wisconsin. Eric’s high school plays summer baseball and he was just coming off of pitching 9 innings in the State Tournament when we had to immediately head down to Illinois to join Team Wisconsin. We were worried he wasn’t going to be 100% in front of the scouts because of the tight schedule, but the coaches let him play another position until he was ready to pitch again on the final day against Ohio. The talent on this team was amazing and Eric really enjoyed playing with some of the kids he usually would only play against (or read about in the newspaper).
We look forward to following the successes of his teammates, as we are sure we will be hearing a lot more about these players in the future. Eric is going to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to play in the Fall, and thanks to the exposure he received, he was able to speak with many different coaches about their programs to try and evaluate the best fit for him. From the tryouts in the spring to the Showcase in Kenosha, to the final tournament in Illinois, this was a well run event and definitely one of the highlights to a great year of baseball. Special thanks to Coach Kelliher, Grams and LuBuda for putting together the best team out there and for allowing Eric to be a part of it.
The Semmelhack Family – Oak Creek, Wisconsin
I want to thank you and the Team WI coaches for the opportunity to be on the team and for the opportunity to compete. It was the one of the highlights of my summer and the exposure in front of so many college coaches was perfect timing with Fall Baseball around the corner.
I am so happy to be going to Bradley University with Coach Domiguez and their baseball program. It seems like a great fit. A very belated but sincere thank you for all of your work and kind words.
Chris Ritter- Madison WI
My son Matt Busch was selected for Team Minnesota last year as a result of his participation in the MN High School Combine. I thought you would be interested to know that he signed to play at D1 Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA.
Felicia Busch – Roseville MN
Thank you for the opportunity for our son to play and represent Wisconsin on the Team Wisconsin 2008 baseball team. EJ had a fun time, so did we as parents. The Showcase in Illinois brought together some of the best talent throughout the Midwest, and with such talent EJ was able to really show his abilities, strengths, and potential.
The team of coaches could not have picked a better group of kids to represent Wisconsin. Not only were these kids extremely talented, but these kids represented the state well with their personalities, mannerisms, and most importantly sportsmanship. The coaches kept the tryouts objective ranking each kid fairly. The reinforcement of the team selection was evident as nearly every one of the kids on Team Wisconsin played at Miller Park for the Brewer’s Classic, and those that did not chose not to. The synergy between the kids was awesome as a parent to see, watching the camaraderie, joking, fun-time, and team work the kids had amongst themselves.
The coaching team was great providing each player an opportunity to play their key positions while showing off their talents to the many scouts that were present both at the Kenosha tryouts and the Illinois tournament.
EJ plays Summer High School baseball in Wisconsin. The talent within the conference he plays swings from one end of the pendulum to the other. The talent at the showcase was the best of the best, and EJ had a tournament of a lifetime! We truly believe that the Showcase tournament in Illinois gave him the ability to show off his talents, strengths, and power, along with the rest of the team, and provided him the encouragement and reinforcement that he in fact does have the talent to play college ball and possibly eventually professionally.
Coach Grams went above and beyond to help all kids get recognized by colleges, and was willing to speak to colleges honestly and openly about them as a player. It is thanks to Coach Grams, who spoke positively and honestly to college recruiters, that EJ has made a commitment to play baseball at Bradley University (a Division I school).
Thanks again to Coach Grams, Kelliher, and LaBuda for everything they have done. We believe that Showtime Sports was instrumental in helping EJ go to the next level, which will be Bradley University in the Fall of 2009.
Diane & Dewayne Sexton- West Bend, WI
Thanks for all you do for those kids. You put on a great showcase, and I look forward to seeing you again next year.

Thank you for the great experience Showtime Sports provided this summer for our son, our family and the many talented high school players in Wisconsin. The entire program (the indoor tryout camps last winter, the Wisconsin Showcase in Kenosha, the Team Wisconsin Midwest Classic tournament in Illinois) was run professionally and with the right intentions. You truly have the best interests of the young Wisconsin baseball players as your top priority.
As you know all too well, Wisconsin players are at a distinct disadvantage when it comes to looking for D1 college baseball opportunities. And summer high school players have it doubly difficult as they’re playing their regular season when the rest of the top talent is traveling throughout the country playing in front of pro and college scouts. Your program has made it convenient for the big time college programs and pro scouts to come and see the many talented Wisconsin (and MN) players at one venue.
While the Team Wisconsin experience was without peer for my son (he met a lot of nice young men that he still keeps in touch with and got to play in a great tournament), I would like to specifically address how important the Kenosha 2-day Showcase was. Showcasing the top 150 WI players at a time when most of the important recruiting is done is a great service for these guys. And clearly, many connections were made between scout and player at the beginning of this heavy recruiting period. Attention for our son ramped up dramatically after the Kenosha Showcase and we cannot thank Showtime Sports enough for that. Kevin is heading to Boston College.
Coaches Kelliher, Grams and LaBuda. Thanks for your effort. We’ll talk up Showtime Sports to anyone who has a son looking to move on to the next level.
The James Family – Whitefish Bay, WI
The showcase helped me out tremendously and I appreciate the work you and your staff put in to help kids like me out. Thank you for the opportunity.
Joe Betcher- DePere, WI
I wanted to thank both of you for the “above and beyond” help to my son
Sam as it pertained to the recruiting process. Sam has secured an
athletic scholarship to play at the University of Minnesota. Thank you
for the combine exposure as well as the personal phone calls you made to
college coaches on Sam’s behalf.
Peter Ryan- Tartan HS, MN
Thank you for all that your program has done for Adam thus far. He has enjoyed every aspect of Showtime Sports – from the camp in Stevens Point last year, to testing his skills against some of the top talent in the state of Wisconsin at your tryouts and combines. Adam has received some serious recognition since participating in your program:
He has since received interest from: Purdue; Minnesota;
Illinois; Iowa; Ohio; UWM; UIC; Bryant; Northwestern; Indiana State;
Valparaiso; and others. He already has a scholarship offer from Jacksonville University in Florida!
The Walkers- Milwaukee, WI
This is Dan Gulbransen from Wisconsin. I wanted to take time to thank you for the privilege of being able to play at the Midwest Classic for “Team Wisconsin”. It is something that opened up a lot of doors for me and I will never be able to thank you enough for the oppurtunities that you created for me. I will be heading to Jacksonville University next year on a very nice scholarship, and the coaching staff saw me for the first time at the Wisconsin Showcase in Kenosha.
Dan Gulbransen, Fox Valley Lutheran WI
I wanted to let you know that Steve made a verbal commitment to Illinois State University yesterday. We are very impressed with their program and know it will be a great fit for Steve both academically and athletically.
Coach Brownlee first saw Steve at the Showtime Sport’s Minnesota High School Baseball Showcase in June. If you recall, Steve was a last minute addition to the Showcase, thanks to you.
Without your efforts, Steve may not have had this wonderful opportunity.
You can’t imagine how grateful we are to you for making that extra effort to include Steve last June.
Bruce and Michelle (and Steve) Maher- MN
Thanks again!!! Your showcase was the one that got Brooks on the map with a lot of coaches. I’m very grateful for the opportunities you and your showcase have given my son.
Mike Beilke- Buffalo, MN
I don’t know if you remember Nate or not, but would like to thank you for your Showtime camp. This was a big confidence booster, especially when he made Team Minnesota. The experience was priceless for him, especially for a kid in the boondocks who gets little notice.
Nate enrolled at Augustana in Sioux Falls and had a great year. Nate was selected to the NCC All-Conference Team as a catcher. He was also the only freshman selected to the team. Guys like you and the Showtime Sports Staff are a big reason kids like Nate get the chance to prove what they can do. Thanks again for what you do.
Steve Baumann – MN
My son, Steve Boucher, participated in the 2006 Combine, and I would like to add our thanks to your program. Steve played his high school ball in a small school, Wayland Academy, and the high level competition and “arena” at the tryouts and Combine were excellent experiences for Steve, and helped him see what he could do. He did get some contacts from college coaches who had been at the Combine, and that was nice of course. For us the real value from the Combine was seeing we should focus on D-2 and D-3 programs, and we found two colleges in each division that really matched well with Steve. We liked all four schools very much; it was a tough choice for us, but in the end, Ripon College was the best match. His mom and I are very excited and proud for Steve, and he likes the College a lot. So, thanks again, for your program. It was very special and helpful to us and our son.
Kris Boucher- Beaver Dam WI
Just a quick note. What a great job you & your staff do @ this event! Very impressive. Whether a kid goes onto the majors, or is done with organized ball after his senior year, that is something they will never forget. Keep up the great work!
The combine was an amazing experience and thank you and everyone else involved for
holding this event and having it run so smoothly. Thanks again.
Thanks for the info and your time in putting this together. What a great time for the kids at such a beautiful complex. We appreciate the time your staff put in to making this happen. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Bill & Adair Flaherty
Thank you for giving my son, Haakon Pederson from Bemidji, the opportunity to participate in your 2 day event. We both felt it was quite worth while & fun.
Gentlemen, thanks for putting on a fun camp last week. My son Tom Bertrand had a great time. Wow, what a great event for my son to have been involved in!!! Thanks for this opportunity!!
Wendy Duenow- MN
I just wanted to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to make a name for myself and being seen by many coaches. It means a lot. It was a great experience!!
Lane Lloyd- WI
Thanks for your work putting together the WI and MN combines. There were a lot of quality kids there and I know it didn’t happen overnight.
Bob Keeney- Butler University
I have been around competitive baseball as a high school player, Division 1 collegiate player, and semi-pro amateur player for 11 years. I have been coaching at the high school level for over 15 years. I have witnessed many baseball organizations that promise to showcase kids and give them the opportunity to “be seen”. Many of these “businesses” do a good job at skill testing young players but they also charge a somewhat hefty price. The problem is what happens next? At most of these “skill testing” events there are very few if any coaches or scouts present to see the make-up, intensity, integrity and other intangibles that make up “the baseball player”.
Showtime Sports is a business that is in business to truly showcase the high school baseball player in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The entire process from tryout, to making the combine, to competition on Team Wisconsin is economically fair, honest, up front, and beneficial for the high school player. College coaches and pro scouts know that when they come to a Showtime Sports event they are going be pleased to see the best players that Wisconsin has to offer.
Players that are chosen to participate at the 150 player combine receive a fair and equitable opportunity to show themselves in front of over 40 colleges and 10 or more professional scouts. The feature that sets Showtime Sports apart from the other “businesses” that are out there is that at the combine players not only partake in the skills testing phase but they also participate in two games at the positions they see themselves playing the best. Players are able to show their make-up, intensity, integrity and other intangibles that make them a baseball player. The experience is wonderful for scouts and coaches and even better for the players because they see first hand what the competition is like and who they have to beat out in order to be chosen to the elite Team Wisconsin squad.
I highly recommend that all high school junior baseball players tryout at a Showtime Sports event that are held each spring in an area near you. Since the tryout site may not be held at your local high school, it is worth the drive to the tryout at the high school closest to you.
If you have any questions about a Showtime Sports event that you would rather approach me with, feel free to do so. Otherwise, good luck with your baseball career and we’ll see you on the baseball field.
Sincerely Yours in Baseball,
Matt LaBuda, Head Baseball Coach – Kenosha Bradford High School
I just want to say thank you for a wonderful experience this summer. After all the traveling last summer and all the tournaments Jared played in. I have to say the most enjoyable was the Midwest Classic Tournament. Great coaching, Great players, and Great exposure. It was really fun to be apart of all that.
I cannot begin to thank you enough for giving me the opportunity to try out and make Team Wisconsin. The weekend in Barrington was my most beneficial and most profitable weekend of my junior year. The number of college and pro scouts exceeded any other tournament that I’ve played in. I understand I helped myself out by playing well, but without all the hard work and preparation by all of the coaches, my opportunity to play in such a prestigious tourney would not have existed. The coaches put all of the players in position to be successful and our record showed it, winning the tournament overall.
The tourney in Barrington gave me the confidence I needed to vault myself into my fall ball. After Team Wisconsin my mailbox was full every day, I was contacted by schools from the Big East, Mid-Atlantic, Ohio Valley, Horizon, Big 10, ACC, and more. I have decided on playing baseball in the Big 10 at the University of Iowa. I feel that it is a great fit for me academically as well as athletically, giving me the chance to take my game to the next level. There is no doubt in my, or my parent’s mind that trying out for Team Wisconsin is the best thing any junior looking to play post-high school baseball could do for himself. It was always my dream to play division 1 baseball, thanks to Team Wisconsin and all of the coaches and great people involved, my dream has come true. Any questions involving Team Wisconsin and the Showtime Sports experience please feel free to contact my parents, Mark or Cheryl, or myself at (920) 822-3306.

Our son, Kyle, had the good fortune to participate in the Showtime
Sports Combine in 2007. Here’s what happened. Kyle was not able to
attend the La Crosse area tryout which is near our home in Onalaska,
Wisconsin, however, because of your flexible tryout schedule, he was
able to attend the tryout in Eau Claire, WI. Kyle was then invited to
the Combine in Kenosha. There were many college coaches and MLB Scouts
in attendance. They were there to evaluate all the High School Junior
class baseball players. After the Combine, Kyle was chosen to play for
Team Wisconsin. This was a great honor since only 15 players were
chosen out of the 144 in attendance. Team Wisconsin played in the
Midwest Classic Baseball Tournament in Barrington, Illinois, in August.
At this tournament, there were more college coaches and MLB Scouts.
Bill, because of all the exposure Kyle received during the summer
playing at the Combine, and on Team Wisconsin, he now has a scholarship
to play baseball as a two-way player at Western Carolina University in
Cullowhee, North Carolina.
We would like to express our sincere thanks for helping Kyle fulfill his
dream of playing Division-1 baseball for a college in the warm weather
We would recommend all serious baseball players in Wisconsin should attend the Showtime Sports Combine. One of the things we learned from attending a Combine is the fact that there are colleges of all levels for players of varied ability. There is a baseball program for everyone!

The Wisconsin High School Baseball Combine and Team Wisconsin were the best experiences we have had in baseball. We wondered if the number and quality of scouts and recruiters would live up to the claims that many “Baseball Showcases” make. It definitely did! We received alot of recognition and interest following both of these events. The coaches and organizers of Showtime Sports were great to the kids and their follow up throughout the year was terrific. It was fun and we met some great people. We would highly recommend it to any junior serious about their future in baseball.

“Showtime Sports is more than just a one day combine, it is a direct avenue to the next levels of baseball, College and Professional.”
Hello, My name is Mitchell Kuhn from Beaver Dam, WI. This past summer (2006) my son Collin Kuhn attended a Showtime Sports baseball combine tryout in Verona, WI. It was a very well run combine testing athletes in many areas. Collin had a very good showing at the tryout. He was selected to participate in the actual combine in Kenosha, WI and play games for two days in front of college coaches and pro scouts. I did not know what to expect. I was shocked to see who was there. Scouts from the Braves, Devil Rays, Phillies, Cubs and Brewers and all those college coaches. Arkansas, Iowa, Northern Iowa, Northern Michigan, Blackburn, Penn State, Jacksonville, Illinois State, Minnesota State, Minnesota, Evansville, Arkansas Little Rock and many more. This is where your child will be seen by the best programs and teams in baseball. They have plenty of opportunity to showcase themselves playing two games in two days. And there is more, they can move on from here.
Collin was chosen to play for team Wisconsin. The top players from the Combine games in Kenosha make this team. He played against teams from Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. The games were played in Barrington, IL. This was a great time. Again more scouts and college coaches. Games played are very competitive and exciting. You get to see the top high school players in the Midwest. I like the way the games are played. Everyone gets to play, yes everyone. Equal time for all. Aside from the baseball it is a great opportunity for your child and you to meet new people and make new friends. I know Collin and my entire family will not forget this opportunity.
The commitment is small because the reward can be big. Collin signed a NLI to play Baseball for the University of Arkansas in 2008. He got a scholarship from them. If Collin did not go to the Showtime Sports combine I would not be writing this today. Take advantage of the program, it is the Best in the Midwest!!!!
Thanks to Bill Grams and all the staff at Showtime Sports. You make dreams come true.
