Showcase ID Events

Attend a Showcase ID Event to become eligible for the Midwest Fastpitch & Future Stars Showcase

The 2024 Midwest Fastpitch Softball Showcase and 2024 Future Stars Showcase will be by INVITATION ONLY based on skill testing metrics gathered at Showcase ID Events held throughout the Midwest region.  Verified metrics taken by our staff at each Showcase ID event will provide consistent and accurate information in one location for college coaches throughout the country.

These metrics along with staff evaluation of players will be utilized to invite players to the following showcase events held in August.

• Midwest Fastpitch Showcase:  Eligible Classes 2025-2029
• Future Stars Showcase:  Eligible Classes 2027-2029

Showtime Sports has been running the Midwest Fastpitch Softball Showcase for over 15 years now. This event has enabled players who have the potential and desire to play college softball to showcase themselves individually in front of dozens of college coaches. This event averages over 150 college coaches annually watching the event online or in-person. This exposure is second to none. The Midwest Fastpitch Showcase will continue to raise the bar significantly in terms of both the level of talent and the number of college coaches watching the event. Team Rosters, Player Profiles, Leaderboards, Live Stream Coverage are all part of this unbelievable experience.

The Future Stars Showcase will continue to raise the bar significantly in terms of both the level of talent and the number of college coaches watching the event. Team Rosters, Player Profiles, and Leaderboards are all part of unbelievable experience.

It Is More Than Just a Showcase ID Event

Our website, player rankings, and MegaRoster of players with verified metrics has become the ultimate ONE STOP SHOP FOR COLLEGE COACHES. You do not want to miss out on these opportunities!

Players participating in the Showcase ID Events will receive the following:

• Skill testing and metrics recorded at the Showcase ID Event will be hosted on our website via Virtual Combine.
• Individual player profile via Virtual Combine (annual subscription required).  Players can upload unlimited photo’s, skills video’s, game highlights to their individual player profile page.
• Leaderboards are posted after each event providing a ranking system based on unbiased and verified skill testing metrics that is accessible, sortable, and shared with every college softball program in the country
• Become part of our Player Ranking System
• Become eligible to participate in the 2024 Midwest Fastpitch Softball Showcase and/or the Future Stars Showcase.
• All player contact information will be password protected so only certified college coaches can get to your contact information.

Becoming part of this VERIFIED database of college softball prospects from the entire Midwest Region will be beneficial for you. Our website has become  THE PREMIER ONE STOP SHOP for college coaches to visit when looking for top talent in the Midwest. Coaches will be able to find the prospects they are looking for in a matter of seconds vs. having to search the internet and visit dozens of different websites. More importantly, they will be able to see VERIFIED metrics and skill testing results on all players that attend one of our Showcase ID Events.

• 20/40 Yard Dash
• Grip Strength (R/L)
• Broad Jump
• Exit Velocity
• Blast Motion Metrics
• Pull Down Throwing Velocity
• Catcher Pop Time and Velocity
• Infield, Outfield, and Catching Fielding Evaluation

Skill Testing Components – Pitchers

Utilizing Rapsodo Technology and/or Stalker Radar Guns players will be testing for velocity and spin rates for each pitch type:

• Fastball
• Curve
• Change
• Screw
• Drop
• Rise

Upcoming Showcase ID Event Schedule
